We recommend avoiding NSAIDs, Ginko Biloba, and Flax Oil for at least 1 week pre and post-injection.

Do not drink alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hours before (or after) your treatment to avoid additional bruising.

Avoid the use of blood-thinning medications, supplements, and vitamins such as aspirin, NSAIDs, Flax Oil, Vitamin A, and essential fatty acids for up to 1 week pre and post injection as they will increase your risk of bruising.

Bruising may be noticeable after your treatment, and then become more obvious over the next day. It will fade over the next 7 to 14 days.

You may experience significant swelling after injections, especially if your lips were treated. Applying clean, cool compresses to the treatment area helps to reduce swelling.

Do not apply makeup over injection points for 24 hours after the procedure. If your lips were treated and you need to hydrate them, simply apply Aquaphor or petroleum jelly with a clean cotton swab.
